CAMP TROLL TERMS & CONDITIONS

At Camp Troll we pride ourselves on attention to health and safety and take our clients’ enjoyment seriously. Many of the environments we explore do present hazardous elements. For the safety of everyone involved we have placed certain restrictions on participants of our activities. These restrictions are detailed under the specific activity: – Please take note of these restrictions; as we cannot screen every client prior to coming, so we rely on honesty. We reserve the right to refuse participation to anyone who is not within these guidelines. A refund may not be given in such circumstances. It is the organizers’ responsibility to inform their group of these restrictions.

PLEASE NOTE – CAMP TROLL RESERVES THE RIGHT TO REFUSE PARTICIPATION TO CLIENTS THEY BELIEVE TO BE UNDER THE INFLUENCE OF ALCOHOL OR DRUGS AND IN SUCH CIRCUMSTANCES NO REFUNDS SHALL BE GIVEN.

CAMP TROLL CANCELLATION POLICY

Please carefully read our cancellation policy. Rarely can we make any exceptions to this, and our team is instructed to follow this policy and rules. So, to avoid any misunderstanding we would be grateful if you could observe the following: 

Cancellations 

All cancellations and reductions in numbers should be notified as soon as possible by email to jem@camptroll.no 

Any cancellations within the 14-day period prior to the date of arrival will result in the group leader being held liable for the full cost of the cancelled activity.  

Cancellations made before 18:00, 14 days before arrival at the activity are entitled to a 100% refund. 

Please note that these terms do not apply for packages, where typically a refund will not be given within 60 days of arrival unless stated otherwise. 

In case of a no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged and is non-refundable.                                                     

Force Majeure (Unforeseen Circumstances)

In the event of you having to cancel your activity, Camp Troll will not be liable for any loss damage, or expense resulting from force majeure or any unforeseen circumstances outside of their control. These include (for example), inclement (bad) weather, government intervention, road closures, travel, airline, ferry disruption including cancellations, tunnel closures, a change in the law, epidemic and/or pandemics, change of venue for safety purposes or any other circumstances outside of their control. 

If We Cancel or Make Changes  

In the event of us having to cancel your activity, the full deposit will be refunded. , Camp Troll will not be liable for any loss damage, or expense resulting from force majeure or any unforeseen circumstances outside of their control. These include (for example), inclement (bad) weather, government intervention, road closures, travel, airline, ferry disruption including cancellations, tunnel closures, a change in the law, epidemic and/or pandemics, change of venue for safety purposes or any other circumstances outside of their control. 

We will endeavor to make sure the stated activity is available for the dates contracted. In the unlikely event, that the activity becomes not available, and the activity owner must cancel the booking, the activity owner will endeavor to find the guest(s) a suitable alternative date. If suitable alternative dates cannot be found, the guest(s) shall be entitled to a full refund. The activity owner shall only be liable to return the monies received. No compensation or consequential losses shall be paid. 

COVID 19/Pandemics 

If you have to cancel or change your travel plans due to COVID-19 or other Pandemics: We recommend that you have valid travel insurance. If you make a booking for our activity the bookings made directly through us are fully refunded IF Cancellations are made before 18:00, 14 days before the scheduled activity, and our within our terms and conditions. Please be aware that you are only eligible for a change in your booking if a FULL COMPULSORY travel ban is actioned by either the Norwegian government or the government of your departure country to Norway, meaning you are not allowed to travel to Norway. Proof of a travel ban will be required before changes are processed. We are unable to offer full refunds outside of our normal terms and conditions.
